Author Guidelines

Glasnik SED – Multidisciplinary Journal welcomes high-quality, original scholarly contributions from all fields within its multidisciplinary scope. To ensure a smooth and efficient review and publication process, authors are required to follow the guidelines below.

  1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

We accept the following categories:

  • Original Research Articles
    Empirical, experimental, or theoretical studies with substantial findings.
  • Review Papers
    Comprehensive overviews of existing research on a specific topic.
  • Professional Papers
    Practice-based contributions offering professional insights.
  • Case Studies
    Detailed analyses of particular cases relevant to the field.
  • Short Communications
    Brief reports on new findings or developments.
  • Technical Reports
    Descriptions of methodologies, systems, tools, or technical innovations.
  • Book Reviews
    Critical evaluations of recently published academic literature.
  1. General Submission Requirements

2.1 Originality

  • Submissions must be original, previously unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
  • All detected plagiarism (including self-plagiarism) will result in immediate rejection.

2.2 Language

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatical English.
  • Authors may request language editing prior to publication.

2.3 File Format

  • Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • Include tables, figures, and appendices within the document or as separate files if necessary.

3.1 Title Page

A separate title page must include:

  • Article title
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Email addresses
  • ORCID iDs (recommended)
  • Corresponding author designation

3.2 Abstract

  • 150–250 words
  • Summarize purpose, methodology, main findings, and implications.

3.3 Keywords

  • Provide 3–6 keywords for indexing.

3.4 Main Text Structure

A typical research article should include:

  1. Introduction
  2. Literature Review (optional if integrated into introduction)
  3. Methodology
  4. Results / Findings
  5. Discussion
  6. Conclusion
  7. Acknowledgments (if applicable)
  8. References

Subheadings may vary depending on discipline.

  1. Formatting Guidelines
  • Word count: 3,000–8,000 words (varies by article type; longer submissions allowed with justification)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
  • Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
  • Citation Style: APA 7th edition (or specify your preferred style for your field)
  • Figures & Tables:
    • Number sequentially
    • Provide clear titles and captions
    • Ensure high resolution (min. 300 dpi)
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • All research involving human participants must include an ethics statement.
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Funding sources must be acknowledged.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • Double-blind peer review
  • Typical review timeframe: 1–2 days
  • Review outcomes:
    • Accept
