Glasnik SED is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality, integrity, and transparency. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure that published work meets international scholarly standards.
This policy outlines the principles, procedures, and ethical guidelines governing the peer review process.
- Peer Review Model
Glasnik SED employs a double-blind peer review system, meaning:
- Reviewers do not know the identity of authors.
- Authors do not know the identity of reviewers.
- All identifying information is removed prior to review.
This ensures fairness, objectivity, and impartial evaluation.
- Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is first evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Section Editor for:
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Originality and significance
- Compliance with formatting and submission guidelines
- Ethical integrity (including plagiarism checks)
Manuscripts failing to meet basic criteria may be rejected without external review.
- Assignment of Reviewers
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected based on:
- Subject expertise
- Absence of conflicts of interest
- Prior reviewing experience and academic credentials
Occasionally, additional reviewers or statistical/methodological experts may be invited.
- Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers are expected to:

- Reviewer Recognition
